I am Denis and…

I am currently studying computer science at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a master’s student. My current research interests include high-performance computing, compilers, and programming languages, and the intersection of these fields with deep learning.

I completed my bachelor’s degree at the Technical University of Berlin, where my bachelor thesis focused on heuristics for twin-width, an algorithmic graph problem.

During my summer internship at AWS, I worked as a Software Development Engineer intern within the Hardware Engineering Services team. My primary focus was on developing a system to collect and analyze telemetry data, aimed at detecting hardware failures.

During my bachelor studies, I had the pleasure of working at Check24, the largest comparison portal in Germany, as a Software Engineer. Prior to that, I was involved with the Fraunhofer Institute, the largest applied research organization in Europe.
